Blue Angels Athletes awarded as “Champions of Character”

In August 2026, the Mount Mary Athletics Blue Angels, were recognized with a “Champions of Character Five-Star Institution” award from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). This honor recognizes academic excellence, sportsmanship, integrity, leadership and respect—both on and off the field. MMU was among the top institutions recognized during the 2025-26 academic year, with a perfect score across all categories.
